Suppose you are Saint Peter and had been denied the food by the old woman, angered by the greed. You have turned her into a woodpecker. Write a diary entry in about 150 words describing your experience.

Date
Time
Dear Diary,
Today was an obnoxious day. I had been travelling for days and days around the Earth preaching. I taught people to believe in god, do not do any sought of the wrong deed. And!! Today, it was 7 in the evening and I had been terribly hungry and about to faint as I had been travelling on a hot sunny day in July.

Suddenly..!!! a very delicious smell reached my nose and a sudden sight of relief went inside me, there was someone to help me with my hunger. It was an old lady, I thought of asking her to help me with some food and the thought appealed to me as she was baking CAKES!

I requested her to provide me with some cooking. She went inside and baked a miniature cake which looked like Titanic to her to give someone. So she baked another cake rather tiny and when she compared the two cakes, she found them identical. During that time, I was becoming ravenous and famished and she went on for baking another cake and this time as big as any microorganism.

After the cake was baked, it looked almost life wafer and she was too greedy to give that to me even and at that time I got exasperated and cursed her for her Gluttonous deed, she didn't deserve to be a human and turned her to a woodpecker. who has to roam around in the bright sun boring into the hardwood to get a scanty food. In all, it was my worst experience ever.
Now it's time to call the day off.

Bye for now.

INTERNET KILLS COMMUNICATION

Relationships are harder now because conversation becomes texting; arguments become phone calls, and feelings become status updated. Is this internet so important? Or we just made it important? Actually, I agree that we need internet as it helps in solving the problem. It also helps in communicating with anyone in an emergency, but we made this our day-to-day life and restricted ourselves to mobiles. The Internet allows us excess to social networking sites. These days teenagers are too busy that they had abbreviations of their own such as ‘ttyl’ and ‘rofl’ on a regular basis which would later make it difficult for them to speak in front of a huge crowd as they have a habit of abbreviations and lack of experience to talk to someone face to face. I would suggest, all people keep your phone aside and have real communication, as it would increase your vocabulary, speaking skills.

LIVING HEALTHY IS OUR CHOICE

The 3 c’s in life choice, chance and change. I would suggest you make a choice to take a healthy, fit, balanced chance to have a happy and successful change in your life. These days children are much attracted to junk food. An excessive amount of everything is harmful. In the beginning, they find these things quite tasty and then the after-effects of these lead to diseases such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes etc.  Today’s world is much attracted towards mobile phones and children are addicted toward video games, this could weaken their eyes and cause eye problems. In earlier times mothers used to force children to come inside the home but these days they force children to leave mobiles and play outside. People should always eat healthy food, exercise, limit exposures to toxins, and cultivate active habits etc. So today is your day, to start fresh, to eat right, to train hard, to live healthily, and to be proud.

FEMALE FOETICIDE

Girls are the spirit of our nation, save them and stop their exploitation. Why always boys are regarded over girls? Just because they provide economic support or the girls need extra protection. Just due to these reasons, people kill the girls when she is a fetus, by the advancement of modern medical technology. The new technologies have allowed determining gender while it is still a fetus. Before the advancement people used to kill the girl child after she was born. There is no change in the people’s mind structure but just a new technology. To stop the killing of the women a special awareness program should be run to aware common people, an immediate complaint registration system should be there for all the women etc. now I wish you all would change your mind towards women as they brought you in this world you have no right to disrespect her.

CRIME AGAINST WOMEN

Violence against women isn’t cultural, it’s criminal. Equality cannot come eventually; it is something we must fight for now. An eight-year-old girl “ASIFA” has been gang-raped and murdered a piece of much-heard news. In India, a woman is raped every 29 minutes. Many cases of violence occur due to the system of dowry. In eastern India, a women and her one-year-old child were burned alive for  dowry.  Human trafficking is one of the fastest-growing activities of transnational criminal organizations. Girls are forced to get married at young ages. Crime against women also includes acid throwing, domestic violence, honour killings etc.  The Indian government has done a lot for safeguarding the interests of women. Policies like National mission for empowerment of women, policy for reservation etc. had been introduced. We must always respect and treat women equally. Only by doing this we can regain the same prestige as written in Vedas.

MORAL EDUCATION THE NEED OF THE DAY

Nowadays people know the price of everything but the value of nothing and today I am here to enlighten you to value moral education. You all must have heard the term Moral Education, but what exactly is it? Moral education is a term used to describe the teaching of children in a manner that will help them develop variously as moral, good, mannered, behaved, non-bullying, healthy, successful, traditional, socially acceptable beings.

However, why should we have moral values in our life? Moral education is one of the most important things based on which a person is judged. Moral values are the principles that guide us throughout our lives. From childhood to adulthood, we keep on learning and transforming ourselves and so do our morals. Moral values are important in life because Moral values reflect an individual's character and spirituality.

Martin Luther King once quoted Education without morals is like a ship without a compass, merely wandering nowhere. Education is not only aimed at obtaining any degree and be simply literate rather it’s a character building process that helps student abide values in their life which would later serve in their success. The foundation to a good character or moral intelligence consists of seven core virtues empathy, conscience, fairness, respect, tolerance, kindness, self-control. If a person possesses this good character, nobody could stop him/her to succeed. Intelligence will not always serve you if you are not morally educated. A morally educated person always respect people in his/her surrounding rather it be a house cleaner, a carpenter, garbage collector etc. All the educated people always live in a high fi manner and never ready to talk to the down class whereas morally educated people live down to the earth following customs and never boast around.  Future of the country is in the hand of teenagers and our future could only be bright if we help our juniors and talk to them in a polite manner as students learn from their elders and are good observers.

Of the various basic moral values, truth is the first and the foremost value without which other values cannot exist. A truthful person is regarded all over the globe.   Man is a “Social Animal” who needs the help of the people and we should always be the helping hand towards each other. We should always help the old age people, as at that age they need the utmost care. We should be honest about the work assigned to us and always have patience. For example sometimes in school, teachers and at home parents scold us for a cause and we usually get irritated and shout or yell in the manner we should not and after a passage of time, we realize that we did something wrong. Why don’t we think of what we are doing and then act with patience always have peace around you and follow moral values to become a successful person and lead a healthy life?

I will end up with a saying by Malala Yousafzai “I truly believe in the only way we can create global peace is through not only educating our mind, but our hearts and our souls.

WIZARDING EXPERIENCE

I was preparing for the declamation at night, I was quite tensed as I haven't prepared much for it and the competition was the next day. It was 12 at midnight and all of a sudden I heard a knock at the door. I was startled to hear the knock. I didn't open the door. after a few seconds, there was another knock and the door flew open. I was astonished and stood up from my chair with eyes widened and saw an old man with prominent eyes, enormous silver- walrus-like moustache squinting at me. His look was enough to horrify me and made me move back as he raised his wand.

" Don't be afraid, dear" he grunted as he staggered to his feet and about to fall. I was still frightened. He continued, "Dear, I am not here to harm you but please help me I got seriously hurt. I am a wizard, good wizard and here to save you muggle people from the dark magic. Please help me. Please!!" I saw his cut, I couldn't resist helping him. He thanked me for helping him and raised his wand in a sweeping motion and made really beautifully coloured flowers and crystals shower which was something extraordinary for me. He displayed some of the spells which were stupendous. And suddenly I heard my mother calling me and I woke up and then chuckled realizing it was a dream and I had been sleeping over my desk.

A few minutes later, I realized I haven't prepared for my declamation while I was on my way to school. While going at the stage I giggled and had nothing to say except my dream and narrated it. A sudden satisfaction flowed inside my heart as I finished with my declamation remembering the topic "unbelievable experience". In the end, when results where announced I stood first and was very surprised but happy and everybody congratulated me.

Today you had been to the market. You were stunned to see an accident due to rash driving of a teenager boy who was driving a big car. The accident took place in the middle of the market. Write a diary entry in about 110-120 words about what you felt at this growing teenaged driving and growing number of accidents

Date
Time

Dear Diary,
Today, my heart boiled out of anger for that young future of the country. Who drove recklessly and hit an old lady who could barely see. As the sound hit the market everybody got startled, first of all by seeing the big luxury car and then a middle height boy who would have just completed his high school. After that point, I couldn't help myself to come out of that state.
I spent my whole day thinking about the people standing beside me in the market who could have initiated to change the ending of the scene. These days teenagers have no respect in their mind. They only care about, what new song came, which movie hit the theatres etc. what about the future of the country? if such teenagers go on coming, who was about to run away from the market but fortunately police arrived. We can change a lot in our nature only if we change our mindset. This is what is needed for today's generation.
Now it's time to call the day off,

See you soon
Stuti.
