According to estimates, 18 million children in India work instead of going to school. Taking ideas from the visual and the hints, together with your own ideas, write a letter in about 120 words to the editor of an english newspaper expressing your concern over the problem of child labourers and the lack of education opportunities for them. Suggest how this problem can be solved.

Subject - Child labour in India.

Respected Sir/ Mam,
I am the owner of a public interest business venture, here in (place). I want to draw your attention to this situation of immediate recognition. Poverty has climbed another stair towards devastation. Employing children for labouring is the only option left with the poor parents to survive in the world of great riches. Children work in tough conditions with the bright sun over their head and burning sand below their feet. This position of theirs leads to consequences like illiteracy, poor health, imbalanced growth, poverty, naming a few.

To avoid such outrageous results, governing should step up with ideas like compulsory and free education up to 10th standard for all. Midday meals should be the highest for all. A child labour project should be initiated which should mark the beginning of special schools for workers and labourers children. Vocational training should become a compulsion, all over the peninsular country. I would end with a hope and desire to see India poverty-free, and a new generation with homework as their workload.

Yours faithfully,
XYZ

Subject - Complaint against the bully.

Respected Mam,
I, XYZ, am a student of grade 10. A friend of mine has been caught with a disease named bully. Long went those days when he was such a kind and gentle human being towards his environment. But, now just like cars and tractors, he is polluting the environment by bullying his juniors and equals. He leaves no stone unturned and no chance wasted to tease the small children and setting an example of a bad role model for the future. He keeps on abusing the weaker.

All the newcomers are his first target at the beginning of the session. Almost the whole junior section, equal and even some seniors are afraid of him. He is really good at studies, to begin with, but due to his company impacts, he turned into something evil. Anger on his forehead is a sign of danger and financial assistance to hospitals.

I end with a hope and desire to have a solution to this school emergence.

Yours faithfully,
XYZ

Respected Sir/ Mam,
I, XYZ, am your regular customer, with visits every alternate month. All my feedbacks collected must have been more than enough to fill a 5ccm thick notebook included in good books until my last expenditure here. I wanted to purchase a ruby necklace and found a carbon copy of my imagination, right there, in the store. When I tried the necklace, it was uncautiously splendorous. I bought it immediately. At home, when I opened it, it had its clasp broken. All my excitement of the necklace reduced to pieces. I want my necklace to be replaced by the same ruby necklace in its best condition and without any defects. Within 3 days I want my product to be in its original condition or please refund my money back.

I want the company to visit my home with a new set of the necklace. Kindly, call before you decide to attend my request.

Yours sincerely,
XYZ
